Jennifer + Justin -- another one :: 01.10.09
I absolutely LOVED Jennifer's bouquet and this happens to be one of my favorite bouquet shots I have ever taken.
Isn't
it gorgeous? I am such a sucker for gerbera daisies.

out of the office :: 01.09.09
I'm out of the office for the next couple days and probably won't be able to respond to email. I promise
I will respond to all messages on Monday!

just married :: 01.08.09
I'll never forget this moment. Not because seven thousand bees were swarming around us (true story, by the way),
but because Ken and I couldn't stop smiling and staring at each other. Our friend Justin sketched the 'Just
Married' sign for us. Isn't it great? Unique details this like allow for fun and interesting photos, and
I do love this photo that Jake shot.

I had every intention of blogging Jennifer and Justin's wedding, but I am not feeling well today and I just couldn't
get it together. My head hurts and my eyes feel like they could pop out of their sockets at any moment. I'll
get it up here soon, I promise!

Jennifer + Justin -- just one :: 01.07.09
Boy oh boy, do I have a fabulous wedding coming your way soon. It was like a fairy tale on the streets of New York
City -- except it was in downtown Indianapolis. How whimsical is the horse in the background?! Ahhhhh I loved everything
about this day!!!

On another note, some of you may have noticed I am on it with the blog this month. I am making it my personal
mission to blog every day for the month of January. If I happen to miss a day, the first person who emails me about
it will receive a free portrait session!

Look at this little charmer! Isn't she beautiful? Erin and Ryan, congrats on the newest addition to your
family!!!

Roberta + Justin :: 01.05.08
Roberta and Justin were married this fall at Valle Vista Country Club. These two are so sweet with each other.
I got teary eyed as they said their vows!
We started the day bright and early with 8:00 am hair appointments...

...but it was worth it!

Yes, even the little ones have to primp!

Roberta wore really fun bright pink heels -- in honor of breast cancer awareness. I took this shot in the hallway
on a leather ottoman. I absolutely love the reflection on the ottoman!

These delicate beauties are family heirlooms. They belonged to Roberta's father's cousin, who let Roberta's
mom, Wanda, wear them on her wedding day. When Wanda tried to give them back, she was told to keep them and let her
daughter wear them on her wedding day. These unique bobby pins were Roberta's something old. When Roberta
has a daughter who gets married, the tradition will continue.

The gorgeous gown. Would you believe I shot this in the basement?

Roberta's lovely bouquet.

Ken grabbed this shot of one of the ring bearers. Isn't it great?!

Meet Justin, the man of the day.

Meet Roberta, the lovely bride. Stacey Mayo (www.StaceyRMayo.com) did a fabulous job with Roberta's makeup.
Bling bling!

I LOVED the florals the bridesmaids carried. This is one of my favorite shots of the day.

How adorable are the ring bearers?!
Roberta and her father arrived to the ceremony under the Veranda by horse and carriage.

I always love this moment.

Album cover, anyone?

I shot this one just after they walked back down the aisle as a married couple. It is one of the happiest photos
of the day!!! LOVE IT!

Ken snagged this sweet moment. He's so good. (And sneaky.)

Okay, she is one of the cutest flower girls I have ever met! She was a natural model, just posing all over the
place. While Ken was shooting some of the girls near the gazebo, I grabbed some time with this beauty. This would
look AMAZING as a custom gallery wrapped metallic canvas.
So would this one. It's so serene.

Roberta picked out the perfect groom's cake for Justin. He is a HUGE Notre Dame fan and even sneaked away
from the reception for a few minutes with his buddies to check out the score that day.

Fun reception detail.

This time I saved the best for last. I just love everything about this shot. It really is timeless.
If it were me, I'd get a 16x24 gallery wrapped metallic canvas of this beauty.

Roberta and Justin, thank you so much for having Ken and me share your awesome day with you! We wish you lots
of love and laughter!!!

laughter :: 01.04.09
Fun fact: studies show that while adults laugh about 15 times per day, children laugh 300 times per day.

I hope you all have a photo that exudes happiness like this gracing a wall in your house. If you don't, give
me a shout and let's make it happen! We don't have to go anywhere fancy to have a good time -- I shot the above
photo beside an abandoned building.
After all, e.e. Cummings said it best: "The most wasted of all days
is one without laughter."
I'm thankful for a witty husband who makes me laugh more than the average child.
Heh.
P.S. Stay tuned for Roberta and Justin's wedding, which I will be blogging tomorrow!

another one from our wedding :: 01.03.09
I asked Jake to shoot this photo of Ken and me for a canvas. Isn't it lovely? I promise I will make a full
blog post once I get all of our photos back. I can't wait to share all of our wedding details with you!
