This post is long overdue!

Laura and Victor have quite a story, but I am going to save that for their wedding post.  (How's that for a teaser?!)

Laura's family is a farm family.  To celebrate her heritage, Laura and Victor threw their rehearsal dinner on the family farm.  How awesome is that?  

My affinity for farms grew even deeper when I arrived at the Rulon Farm.

So hot.

I have a thing for tractors...

...and cowboy boots with dresses.

The pigs were so friendly.

Laura made sure that every detail was just perfect for a farm celebration.

Laura's niece sang a special song for the happy couple.

Victor's best friend gave the toast.

She was such a charmer all night long! We chatted about pigs, life on a farm, and her very important role in the wedding.  (Yummy light, btw.)

The family ended the night with a tractor ride at sunset...

Laura and Victor, you two are an AMAZING couple with an AMAZING story!!!  Thank you so much for allowing me to share these moments with you. I had an awesome two days with you, your family, and your friends.

One of the things I love about my job is watching little ones grow.  I have been photographing this beauty since she was 7 months old.  When she was a baby, she had the cutest and chubbiest baby legs I had ever seen.  When I photographed her last summer for her first birthday, she was barely walking.  Now, at 2, she is running all over the place!

She's such a doll.  I know you think so, too.  FAVORITE!!!

Kyle, Kelli, and Addison -- I had a blast!  I can't wait to do it again.  

I knew it was going to be a good day when I showed up to a downtown photo session and saw this little beauty...

 

I knew it was going to be an even better day when I saw her shoes.  FAVORITE!

Cara and Michael, your daughter is adorable.  I absolutely love her inquisitive nature.  Thank you for inviting me to capture these moments for you.  I had a blast!  You are an amazing family!!!

Kelsey and Kevin are Bloomington residents who came to downtown Indianapolis for their engagement session.  We drove around  downtown and made at least one illegal move that I can recall (oops!!!) in search of the perfect photo locations.  Here are a few fun facts about Kelsey and Kevin: 

1.  In all their years together, they have never had professional photos taken.

2.  Kelsey is from Michigan and apparently Michiganders talk differently than Hoosiers.  (You will soon see the relevance of this fun fact.)  I'm from Chicago -- what do I know?!?!

3.  Kevin adores the way Kelsey says "crayons."  She calls them "craaaans."  Kevin didn't openly admit that he adores this, but I can tell he does by the way he makes fun of her.

We ended the session as the sun was setting.  All the buildings are golden!

 

This is just a taste of what's to come.

As some of you may have noticed, my e-mail has been acting pretty sketchy for about a week.  My web hosting company has been performing some upgrades.  I am up and running again and will respond to your e-mails right away.

Can you believe it is almost August?!?!  Where did this summer go?  Time is flying, that's for sure.

If you are waiting for proofs, I promise you will get them soon.  I am running about 2 weeks behind schedule because I bit off more than I could chew in June and July.  August is just as crazy, so please bear with me!

I am so grateful for each and every one of you.  Thank you for allowing me to step into your lives and capture beautiful memories for you!  Much love to you all.
