Stefani and Matt are such a fun, sincere couple.  I always know it's going to be a great session when the couple willingly hops in my SUV so we can drive around to fun locations!  We sort of ummm...got kicked out of a construction zone.  Hey, when it comes to photos, I always say it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission!  [wink]

This was one of the first shots of the session and I absolutely LOVE it!!!

Noah is 2 weeks old and completely adorable.  He was a little cranky at first, but I brought out the iPod and he started to calm down once I played some music.  It turns out that he loves Norah Jones!  Apparently his mom and dad played Norah for him while he was still in the womb.  He also loves being naked!  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Congratulations on the birth of your little one, Erin and TJ!  Noah is absolutely precious!!! 

Jordan and Brendan are two of the most fun people I have ever worked with.  Jordan is taking off for Europe for 6 months so Brendan asked me if I'd photograph them so they would have something to comfort them and remember each other.  I think it is completely sweet!  They aren't engaged and they aren't married -- they are just two fun people in love.  Jordan, good luck in your travels and know that there is a super sweet guy waiting for you in Indianapolis when you return.

Sooooooo, after a ton of debating and sorting through photos and words, I have decided that the word FUN sums up the time I spend with my awesome clients in our photo sessions.  It's always my goal to have a good time, joke around, and capture real joy.  Fun is so universal.  It's a combination of so many words and expressions -- sweet, rad, love, colorful, happy, and vibrant, to name a few.

Random fact of the day - today I scored the U2 "Joshua Tree" CD for just $1.00.  It looks brand new!  My original copy disappeared while I was in college.  I'd love to head out near Death Valley to check out similar trees and see where the Joshua Tree once stood.  Anyone else like U2?  Have you seen the tree in person?

When I first met Gina, she was wearing a black Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt, jeans, and converse shoes.  At that moment, I knew Gina and I would get along just fine!  I didn't know it at the time, but her converses are her favorite shoes.  I had a pair back in the day and I wore them until the soles fell off.
