Luke :: 02.26.08
Luke is one month old and so adorable -- I love his crazy hair!!! His mom and dad brought him to my home studio for
some one month old photos. He was a hungry little guy! We stopped the session several times so he could snack
on some formula. I know, it's rough being just one month old! Matt and Becca, congratulations on your new
arrival! I am looking forward to photographing Luke again as he grows.

vintage + modern = fresh :: 02.23.08
What do you get when you put a vintage twist on a modern portrait? Something fun and fresh! This would look
FANTASTIC as a metallic gallery wrap canvas. I'm tempted to order one for my own gallery!

I only have a few 2008 wedding dates left. Send an email to lindsay@lindsaywilsonphotography.com if you'd
like to set up a consultation to discuss photography options for your wedding.

I have the BEST clients! :: 02.19.08
One of my clients sent me the sweetest email this morning.
Lindsay - We received our prints over the weekend and
we cannot express in words the happiness we feel. Every time we look through our wedding photos, we remember the joy
we felt that day. The photos of my dad walking me down the aisle and the ones of my sister and I before the ceremony
bring tears to my eyes. Aside from the formal photos, we never really knew you were there quietly capturing those moments.
Thank you so much for being there on our special day and for recommending such great vendors. We received so many compliments
on the flowers and cake! Everything was so perfect and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for being who you
are; you are a real breath of fresh air! Now that we have our prints, we can't wait to see our album. I know
it is going to blow us away!!! Thank you for everything! Our wedding would not have been the same without you.
-Heather
I have said it before and I will say it again -- I LOVE what I do and I adore my clients! I am
so blessed.

Happy Valentine's Day! :: 02.14.08
"Love is being stupid together." -Paul Valery
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's
Day! We're making chocolate fondue for strawberries and other goodies. Yum.
I'll report back later
with my review of the Trader Joe's organic strawberries and their chocolate I bought to melt in the fondue pot.
You never really know how strawberries are going to taste this time of year, but they looked really red and juicy so I thought
I'd give them a try.
:: EDIT :: The fondue was so tasty!!! I highly recommend the milk chocolate
chips and organic strawberries from Trader Joe's! Yummmmm. I think we'll try adding some pecans or walnuts
in the chocolate next time.

Phone Issues :: 02.13.08
While I was checking my voice mail messages today, my phone decided to randomly delete all new messages. I called
my telephone service to see if the messages could be recovered but unfortunately, they cannot be recovered. It turns
out there was an issue with the phone company. So...if you left me a message today and I have not responded to you,
feel free to call me back or send me an email.
Thank you for your patience and I apologize for the inconvenience!

Jennifer and Gage :: 02.06.08
These two met at a bookstore where they were both employed. Jennifer was the new kid on the block and Gage was in
charge of training her. They hit it off right away. Prior to our session, Jennifer warned me that Gage didn't
like to have his picture taken, but I think she was lying. Just look at these moments I captured -- they are SO into
each other!
This one might be my favorite.

What can I say -- I have an obsession with shoes.

Hot!

I told you they are soooo into each other!

Dave's Alley.

Jennifer and Gage, I'm looking forward to shooting your wedding in September! It's going to be a blast!!!

Locks :: 02.05.08

I shot this a couple days ago near Dave's Alley in Muncie.

Annemarie and Jason :: 02.04.08
Who knew that when they passed by each other on the U of I campus several years ago that Annemarie would have left such
an imprint in Jason's memory. Two years ago, while Jason was browsing Myspace, he saw Annemarie and instantly remembered
her. They set a date to meet and had their first date at a Japanese steakhouse and a movie. The date went so well
that they just kept it up!
What you all should know right about now is that Jason is the biggest Indycar fan
you will ever meet. (It's a good thing Annemarie shares his passion!) They spent a lot of time together going
to races all over the Midwest. One of their favorite tracks is Mid-Ohio because of its park-like atmosphere and its
middle of nowhere location.
When Jason saw that Indycar had added Mid-Ohio to its schedule, he decided that race
would be when he would ask Annemarie to be his wife. For weeks leading up to that weekend, Jason had been in contact
with several media and fan club personnel from Indycar about the proposal. They worked it out and emailed Jason an official
looking message saying he had won passes to the pre-race ceremonies at Mid-Ohio. Jason forwarded the message to Annemarie
and the two of them made plans to go to th track. While they were there, several club members congratulated them on
winning the contest and some even said how they were sorry they didn't win. (Jason had it all planned out -- can't
you tell? He's sneaky!)
Jason and Annemarie headed down onto the pit road for the pre-race ceremonies.
They got to see all the drivers coming down pit road, and then Jason and Annemarie were called up to the microphone for a
short interview about their experience that weekend. It was the normal, "Where are you from?" "How
did you win this?" The interviewer then gave Jason the microphone and Jason got down on one knee on the hot pavement
to ask Annemarie to be his wife. Of course she said yes and he gave her the ring.
The boards flashed "she said
yes" while "Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News played over the PA system. Jason chose that song
because Annemarie's favorite movie is Back to the Future.
Jason and Annemarie were married this past weekend in
Indianapolis. Here are a few of my favorite details from their amazing day.
The church where they exchanged vows.
Just look at that beautiful sky!

Gorgeous bouquet. Annemarie's favorite flower is the stargazer lily. Jason told me that he often brings
home stargazer lilies for her. Aww.

The groom's boutonniere.

Annemarie wore silver kitten heels with jewels. Sweet!

Jason's surprise for Annemarie -- he had "You are my density" inscribed into her wedding band.
Are there any Back to the Future fans in the house?

The flower girl says hello!

Annemarie's dad performed the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs!

What's better than a swan made of melons?

How about a Pagoda cake? (I told you Jason was a racing fan!)

The night would not have been complete without this sweet getaway car!

Something blue :: 02.01.08
Several brides have recently commented to me that my shoe photos have inspired them to do "something different"
for their wedding. I say go for it!!! One of the joys of being a wedding photographer is that I get to document
all the small details of the day -- details some guests might overlook -- and then I get to see how those details all come
together in the end. I absolutely love when a bride does something completely unexpected -- like the rocking blue heels
featured here!
