I had the pleasure of photographing Kate and Kyle in Chicago while on vacation.  Both are used to warmer climates -- Kate lives in California and Kyle lives in Hawaii (but the word on the street is that after living apart for 2 years, Kyle is relocating to California in the next few months so he and Kate can start their life together).  Aren't they adorable?

I absolutely love this time of year.  I love the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, the decorations all around, the delicious goodies we bake, family traditions...and giving gifts!  I love it all.  I get so much joy out of watching people open delightfully wrapped gifts.  

Check out this neat "ornament" on the family Christmas tree. It's actually a piece of German chocolate.  How cool, huh?  I think it is beautiful.

I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Christmas with your loved ones! 

 

I'm going to be out of the office for the rest of 2007 but I will still be checking email and returning calls.  Thank you all for a wonderful 2007!  I am so thankful and appreciative for all of my amazing clients.  You all are so wonderful!!!

All print orders have been completed and mailed.  The last batch went out yesterday -- just in time for the holiday! 

If you have not yet received proofs for your event, your proofs will be ready by the end of the year.

How sweet is this adorable little girl?  I adore those curls!!! 

On a side note, I have been such a sucker for black and white photos lately!  

 

Weber, Emaline, and Ellie are such adorable kids!  Their mom wanted a relaxed black and white portrait in a natural environment to include with the family's Christmas cards.  We met at Fort Ben and the kids -- all bundled up -- sat on a fallen tree for the photo session.  

 

When we were done with the tree, Weber decided to play a little air guitar -- err, tree branch guitar!  Rock on, kiddo!

 

The Cowgill family asked me to take a relaxed black and white portrait of them for their Christmas cards, so we met under a giant pine tree in Lake Saint Louis.  Aren't they an attractive family?  You guys are awesome!  Happy holidays!
