Happy Thanksgiving! :: 11.22.07
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all are spending time with your loved ones. I am out of the office
for the holiday spending time with my parents, grandparents, and other family. We have been having a blast in the kitchen
-- cooking, dancing, singing, laughing, and taking photos!
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I would like to say that I
am so thankful for my family who has always been so loving and supportive. I am also thankful for the awesome clients
with whom I get to work. It is truly an honor to be a photographer and I am thankful to be a part of your lives!
I am incredibly thankful for all my friends, old and new. You all are such wonderful people and I am thankful and blessed
to have you in my life.
To my blog readers -- I send you my best wishes this holiday season. May all of you be
blessed with happiness and warmth!

My grandma made these awesome individual pumpkin shaped spice cakes soaked in orange glaze for everyone in attendance
of the feast. How cool are these?!?! Thanks, Grammy! You rock!

Marcia and Charlie :: 11.20.07
Marcia and Charlie contacted me for some traditional photographs to commemorate their 10 year wedding anniversary.
Aren't they a lovely couple? I went to their home and we found some beautiful fall trees that provided the perfect
fall setting! Congratulations and happy anniversary, Marcia and Charlie! You both are wonderful!

Lily :: 11.18.07
Lily's mom wanted to give grandma and grandpa some photos for Christmas, so I went to their house this morning to do
what I do. What a happy baby! I'm told that her newest trick is rolling -- and she rolls all over the house!!!

Josh, Casey, Abby, and Noah :: 11.17.07
This was my third time interacting with this wonderful family. Abby and Noah are the cutest kids! Noah is the
typical almost 3 year old boy -- he loves cars and is fascinated with fire trucks. He also loves making funny faces!
During our photo session, Noah would shout out random words while smiling. He was really into saying "cheesecake"
and "cars" for awhile! Abby is a genuinely sweet girl. She told me all about the fun Christmas songs she will
be singing in her school's Christmas show. Thanks for a fun session, guys! You all are great!

Hailey Brooke and Omar :: 11.14.07
Hailey Brooke and Omar were such a delight to work with! I photographed their wedding celebration at The Conrad in
downtown Indianapolis over the weekend. The amazingly talented T'ai Rising-Moore was Hailey Brooke's make-up
stylist. You can check out her work at www.tairm.net. Seriously, if you are getting married, give T'ai a call
and tell her I sent you. She is awesome! Ok - back to Hailey Brooke and Omar. Don't they make an adorable
couple?!?! And that rock you see....yeah, it's 9 carats!

:::
Kelly, James, and Noah :: 11.11.07
Look at this beautiful family! I am so jealous of Kelly's gorgeous raven hair!!! You may recognize them
because I photographed their wedding last year. Noah is the sweetest kid and I cannot say enough good things about Kelly
and James. They are truly wonderful people and Kelly is absolutely hilarious. It was awesome seeing you guys again!!!
:::
Michelle :: 11.10.07
Michelle is gorgeous, awesome, spunky, hilarious, and so much fun!!! I am never going to forget the moments we spent
in some very urban areas near downtown Indianapolis. (Michelle, I am sure you are laughing right now!) What more
can I say? Michelle, you rock. The pink tights are awesome!

:::
Evan :: 11.04.07
Evan is a 2.5 year old who is obsessed with books. While I was at his house to photograph him, we took a couple breaks
so we could have story time. We read "Curious George Saves the Day" and a couple other books about farm animals.
What fun! We went outside and Evan told me all about his Halloween pumpkin. Then he put on his dragon head and
made funny dragon noises!

Lily :: 11.04.07
Meet little Lily. Isn't she adorable? Lily's mom invited me out to their house so I could capture this
little one's personality. She's so cute and wiggly - just like babies are supposed to be!

One year ago today... :: 11.03.07
J. and I were married on a Friday morning in downtown Indianapolis. It was a perfect fall day. As we exchanged
vows, he was crying and I was laughing! Random people were honking their horns and screaming congratulations at us.
It was so much fun! I cannot believe a year has passed already. (And yes, that is a black wedding gown!
I know, I know...I broke the rules!!!)
